Choosing Hope, Choosing Joy

In these dark times it is very easy to get distracted with what is going on in this world and miss out on the blessings God has for us.

God’s promises are unfailing and it is up to us if we want to choose hope and joy or if we want to let these trials bring us down.

Romans 12:12 clearly states to be joyful in Hope, Patient in affliction, Faithful in prayer.

We are to have joy in God because He is Hope. He is our Provider, our Shelter, our Peace! We have to be patient during our affliction and stay faithful to God’s Word. His promises give us strength in Faith to give God Glory as he has the Power to overcome darkness. John 1:5.

To benefit from these promises one thing we can do and work on is trusting God. He has a reason for allowing things to happen. We may never understand his wisdom but we simply have to Trust in His Will. Psalm 37:5.

God is the only who can me the valley of trouble a door of Hope! Hosea 2:15.

I am not saying that being a Christian is easy, but taking that first step of faith and believing in His promises, I can assure God will take care of the rest.

So it is your choice to choose hope and joy and have God fulfill His plans and promises for you, or just continue and miss out on His blessings.

May the God of Hope fill you with all Joy and Peace as you Trust in Him, so that you may Overflow with Hope by the Power of the Holy Spirit! Romans 15:13 Amen!
